Graffiti has evolved into a fascinating way of expression in Egypt these days, emerging quietly a few months before the revolution, then explodes with the events of 25 January

Maverick American artist Jean Michel Basquiat (1960-1988) was an unusual artist. He began his career as a graffiti artist on the streets of New York that would eventually emerge as the lead character in "Neo-expressionist 'art scene. Animate and inanimate forms of representation in a rather violent, with the brute force of emotion, is characterized by' Neo-Expressionism."
